The Calientes - College life...and death!?

The Calientes went to college finally. They had enough money from their scholarships to move in to a residence. So the first thing Dina did was sleep in until the sun was really high...

...while Nina who took her exercise machine with her spent hours training until her lazy sister finally got up.

Then they headed straight to the coffee bar and Dina earned some more simoleons. After the move there wasn't enough left to pay the bills so that was desperately needed. For what happened then I still have no explanation...

Nina had a hot date with some college guy named Amulius. They had a lot of fun playing, dancing, talking, flirting...and woohooing. But just after they had finished that last mentioned activity Amulius got up and before I knew it, Mr. Grim showed up! He checked his list and yes: Amulius' name was apparently on it! :/

Seems he wasn't man enough for Nina Caliente if he wasn't even able to survive one woohoo with her...
She should probably concentrate on her studies more to avoid wiping the entire campus!

The Roseland Wedding

The big day had finally arrived. Lilly Do and Cyd were ready to tie the final knot. This is Simona Lake's Wedding Hall and the happy couple waiting for the guests to take their seats. The guest list contained:

Samantha Ottomas who definitely looks moved in this picture. Maybe she remembered her own wedding and couldn't help but shed a tear or two because that romantic moment was five kids ago?

Julien Cooke seemed to be looking forward to being the groom himself once in a while. He was a very fine wedding guest who cheered up his best friend Samantha Ottomas by dancing with her when she was the only woman that showed up without a partner...

Surprise semi-celebrity guest Nylissit Tricou came in company of a robot instead of her husband. Cyd and Lilly seemed quite flattered to have her.

Even though he didn't seem too happy with the engagement Cyd was all happy groom when it came to the real thing! The newlyweds seem to be made for each other and it's supposed they're looking ahead to a long and happy and fruitful marriage. ;)

Finally, when they got back to their trailer Cyd and Lilly moved on to more inofficial deeds included in a new marriage...three times. *coughs* Let's see how long it takes until there's another bud in this new patch of the Roselands...:D

Cyd Roseland - Wedding bells?

Cyd Roseland's phone rang early this morning. It was Lilly Do who announced her coming around later that day to pick him up for a date downtown.

So Cyd was in a hurry that day. He tried teaching Thalia to roll over...without much success. Seems she's just not as intelligent as his old dog Porthos. The two gave their best anyway and had a lot of fun at least.

 The second date with Miss Do went quite well. They had Salmon for Lunch at Bernard's and danced afterwards...but that wasn't all they did.

Before they could make another use of the photo booth than taking pictures an old lady showed up and hit Cyd hard with her purse! That was the moment when he was almost forced to make a further move on Miss Do. He invited her to live with her and committed to the relationship.

 So it's three at Cyd's Trailer now. Lilly is really in heaven as she's sure she's finally found the man of her dreams. Cyd himself is not quite sure if living with a woman is the right thing for him...but at least he's willing to give it a try.

Good for him Thalia's not a jealous person. :D She spent the evening watching tv and waiting for her owner to take her for a walk. And that he did after Lilly had fallen asleep. ;)

The Goodies - New additions

The Goodies took almost all their savings to buy this little house by the shores of Lake Simona. It may be small but it has a big garden and they seem to like it very much.

Before moving in they had their first vacation in Three Lakes but when they came home they realized they had no way of making enough money for another vacation soon.

That was when Faith decided they could use their new home to help Sims (and Sim Pets) that were in need of help and started by giving old stray Max a new home.

Another 'stray' she picked up. Her name is Adriana Little and she's an illegitimate descendant of the late Jon Smith Tricou. Her mother seems to have abandoned her so she desperately needed a place to stay at. The Goodies offered their living room couch as a camp and Adriana willingly agreed. So there's nothing more to say but good luck to the Goodies and their new additions! ;)

The Gavigans - Makeover, babies and Watcherism

The first thing Mrs. Gavigan did when she arrived at Simona Lakes was getting rid of her long hair. She didn't quite seem to trust the stylist beforehand...

...but it seems she was the most pleased with her new Mom-cut. Suits her well I must say.

At arriving back home the school bus had arrived too and Mary's friend Priya came over for a visit. While Mary prepared some sandwiches for lunch she could watch

Priya and Isaiah play catch right before the kitchen window. This is much to Mary's liking...much better than living in a big city.

At the lunch table she bragged on and on about having more babies...it seems even pregnant Priya was a little annoyed with all the baby bragging...;)

Nathan on the other hand is more interested in making friends with everybody around the neighbourhood. Once he comes back home from work he heads straight to the telephone calling everyone he knows...that might have two reasons though. First he needs some friends for a promotion and second he's planning on bringing the Watcher's church to the neighbourhood and needs provisions as he's not able to financially support it on his own. We'll see if he'll be successful in the future.

The Ottomas family - Twin birthday!

This morning the Ottomas family was up early. Grandma Dora made the family some pancakes while Mother Samantha stayed in the bedroom...she had gone into labour!

It took her a while but when she finally emerged the master bedroom, she had two precious babies to show her family: Firstborn of the twins, little Jill Ottomas!

And chocolate eyed little Jack! The babies are quite content at the moment and so is the family. They're dealing with it surprisingly well but that might have been because it was father Peter's day off of work when the little ones arrived. We'll see how they'll deal with it once everyone (except Dora, she retired finally) goes back to work. Congratulations to the Ottom...i? ;)

The Lotharios - Casanova in the making...

The last household down Lakeside Lane is Hugh Lothario's "Bunker". Well, it really isn't but the neighbours call it that due to the very clean and modern look of the house.

Hugh and his nephew Donald had a typical bachelor's breakfast consisting of cereal and toaster pastries before Hugh headed to work and Don went on with his own business...

 Making new girlfriends through his uncle's money...

 Having girls he likes approved by his pet cat Rita...

And trying to convince those that ARE approved he's the man for a first wohoo...
Nina seemed not a bit reluctant so these two may be going on dates now.
